Oh Yeah...This Webpage

Well, I pretty much never come here anymore, but I checked in and noticed by my meter that apparently some people actually still read this thinger, so I figured I'd update to keep my legions of fans sated. Hey remember when I got into UCLA and was thinking about going there? Boy, that was a while ago. Instead of all of that, I'm now living in Virginia, soon to be attending UVa law. I'm still pleased about the fact that I got in off the wait list despite not sending any updated transcripts or letters of interest.

Anyway, so I moved in yesterday. My roomate won't be arriving for some time, so basically I know absolutely no one here and have nothing to do. Probably a lot of people would take this time to explore their new town and try to meet people or something, but instead of that I bought Everyone Loves Raymond on DVD and started watching that on my computer since I don't have a TV either. Clearly a suitable alternative. As far as my thoughts on living in a new state goes, well it's really humid and hot here currently, but I hear that on the East coast we have these things called "seasons" and that at some point I'll see some "snow" so that'll be nice. They also really seem to like buffets here. I don't merely mean that there are buffet restaurants. We have those in California too, of course. I mean that you walk into a KFC or Pizza Hut and there's a buffet. They both have some stuff that isn't even on the menu like candied yams. It's all very confusing. Also, in regards to being in the south, so far it seems like mostly only the poor people have accents. The "help" you might call them.

School won't start for 3 weeks still. I'd come up with some meaningful task I've been meaning to accomplish for the meanwhile, but so far it looks like I'll be spending it not showering and sleeping till 1.
